1. Governance, Compliance and Standards Committee


The Governance, Compliance and Standards (GCS) Committee is established to propose receive consider and approve matters relating to the governance of the Institute – which include the formulation of institutional policies (other than those considered by other committees) and development of Plans for the Institute; and all matters regarding professional Human Resource standards and practices, and enforcement of ZIHRM control systems.

 2. Finance and Administration Committee


The Finance and Administration Committee (FAD) Committee is established to mobilize finances and other resources for the Institute’s operations and sustainability. The Committee is also mandated to ensure effective and efficient management of financial and other resources in order to enhance accountability and transparency.

3. Research and Consultancy Committee


The Research and Consultancy (RC) Committee is established to propose, receive, review, consider and approve research and consultancy activities of the Institute in order to contribute to the knowledge base and science and practice of HRM.

4. Marketing and Business Development


The Marketing and Business Development Committee is established to effectively market the Institute’s programmes and services in order to create public awareness and raise its profile. Further, the Committee is charged with the responsibility of collecting and updating information on membership.

5. Disciplinary Committee


The Disciplinary Committee is established to consider and approve the Institute’s provisions of the Codes of Ethics and Conduct for the HR practitioners in Zambia. It is responsible for resolving complaints of alleged violations of policies and/or professional standards against the HR practitioners and to decide the appropriate Institute response and action.
